No matter where you go, or how society progresses, there will always be people who choose not to learn on their own, who choose to told how to beleive and what to think. Yes, a good portion of them are Christian, but I've encountered racist & homophobic Wiccans, too.

In general, it's getting better. Society is much more accepting of anyone "different than the norm" these days than perhaps 50 years ago.
