so visiting with mom hasn't been a total disaster.. we've actully had a nice time so far. she would have spent tonight & tomorrow alone (the family arrives tomorrow night & sunday) so she was glad i wanted to visit. earlier i drove her around athens to look at xmas lights.. not many out but we did see a few very nicely arranged lights in the ritzy areas. she always enjoys going downtown to see the blinky lights on clayton, so we drove there as well.

whats neat is that my mom likes Eva O! well.. at least O Holy Night anyway.
