It's so nice to be back in my own bed.
..to say nothing about the cool A/C blowing on me right now.
Earlier today I had a pleasant conversation with
trans_nat ( btw nat, yes to my question earlier today.. :o/ ). We spoke for most of my ride home on I-20.. It's nice getting to meet people I've corresponded so frequently with on the interweb.
Just before I reached home after driving from Dad's, Dara called with car trouble. Her alternator broke and she needed help installing the new one. So I drove down and helped her with that. After washing off the black gook off my arms and grabbing a bite at Awful Waffle I came home and dyed my roots. While my hair turned a deeper shade of black I spoke on the phone with an acquaintance from Athens & Atlanta I've known for almost ten years, but have yet to meet in person.
Mitch from the Breakfast Club & choir sent a thoughtful email earlier this afternoon. He's such a sweetheart.
Oh - Les, before I forget.. about the Birth thingy.. were you born in Georgia? If so you'd just need to get a copy of the court ordered name change & they will supply the new document. You'll have to do that with whatever state you were born in though. Call me if this doesn't make any sense.
ok well I am going to sleep now.
night night.
