I'm alive
You know, I haven't been posting much lately. Maybe I'm getting bored with the internet & LJ, but my absence probably has more to do with my being so frelling busy of late. Two days ago I changed my birth certificate and that made me happy. My SSA card is supposed to be mailed to me this week or next.. I've changed my name with school, car loan company, insurance, t-mobile.. ah i need to call the power company next. I'm sure there are many others I'm forgetting.
My Maya 1010 audio interface arrived earlier this week. It's driver installed without complaint and everything seems to work nicely. Adobe Audition allows me to separate each input to a separate track, which is something I've longed for.
I thought I'd learn how to use the Maya 1010 by re-recording an old The Girl Pool song (Domain).. when that's done I'll post here for those interested.
It looks like I'll be staying in L5P for a little while longer. I'm showing the third bedroom tonight to a couple people, and to another person on Saturday. Here's hoping I don't wind up with a psycho.
I may cut my hair this weekend. Maybe.
