yesterday was fun. my friend Dara & I drove to Athens because we were both craving Taco Stand and while there we went to Oconee Hills. Some of those pictures are of this big tunnell that starts next to the Cemetery and goes under georgias stadium.. it's like half a mile long and very dark and dank. I haven't seen it in 13 years or more.. i thought it would have been boarded up by now but its still there and cold as ever.
it's rainy outside so i haven't gone anywhere yet. i need to go get picks..
anyway.. bye.

If I can find them, I'll have to post some photos I took in that same graveyard. I loved that place. Ever notice how neat the older side feels? And then if you cross the bridge over to the new side -- it just sucks? Its all new and no drama at all. And that tunnel -- I'm sure some of Caitlin's monsters live there ;) Btw - have you got Five of Cusps yet? Man oh man -- got it last week and its beautiful (and brutal)... very cool to finally read it.

haha i thought about Caitlin when we went in that tunnel! i don't have her new book because i'm still reading Threshold (speaking of damp dark tunnels!)

i don't go to the new side.. i went there once at night and even when you couldn't see much it sucked. whats the deal with those tombstones made like tree trunks? one of them had hebrew on it so maybe a jewish thing?? anyhow i had lots of fun more so that it was a last minute thing. :)
