Ten days

My birthday is usually filled with anxiety.. more so recently than when I was younger.    It's hard for me to believe that I really be (37) years old in ten days.  Time flies by so fast, and from everything my elders tell me it goes even faster as we grow older.

Time is an illusion. Lunchtime (and birthdays) doubly so. It doesn't matter *how* old the calendar says you are as long as you *feel good* -- and people take you for 10 years *younger* than the calendar says you are! ;-)

I turn 30 this year - eek. I was a little freaked out by that myself but I think I've reconciled with it a bit. I also believe that after I turned 21 the years started going faster - when you're a kid you're really just oblivious to the whole time concept. Either way, you've got a long life ahead of you :)
