Yes, I'm totally remiss. I spent the evening riding my father across the county - first to the funeral home, and then back by his cousin's house for a visit. It was a good evening but sad (because of the funeral home visit).
I have a rule - you're allowed to celebrate your birthday for as many weeks as you have decades in your life. At this point, I can celebrate my birthday for a whole MONTH!
