even saw a runner out this morning. amazing. seems like you'd catch your death jogging in a hard freeze. but what do i know?

Make do, wear it out, use it up, or go without

I've seen this Depression era phrase a lot lately.

I'm buying one last "luxury" item soon, a bicycle. That is because riding motocross is a luxury I cannot afford right now. I've already started eating out less, but need to get into the habit of bringing my lunch every day. Next month I plan on investing a little more into my business, but that will hopefully allow me to make money in the times to come.

Anyone else taking heed?

This is why I believe little will change in DC

By no fault of the Prez elect, this shit is just too hard to stop.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO), Congress' investigative watchdog, has found that "a majority of America's largest publicly traded companies and the U.S. government's largest federal contractors use multiple subsidiaries in offshore tax havens to conduct business and avoid paying U.S. taxes," writes Carol D. Leonnig for The Washington Post.

The culprits include some corporate giants who are receiving countless millions in bailout money
