Fundamentalist recovery groups in Atlanta?

Is there such a thing as a recovery group for people that grew up in (and were traumatized by) extremely fundamentalist homes?  I'm asking for a friend.. thank you.

Yes, there are! There are many such recovery forums and groups. Many times you can find them for individual groups, like the Mormons, etc. There used to be a great site for ex-members of The Way, International, which used to be prolific here in Floriduh. The Way claims to be a 'Bibilical Rresearch and Study group' but it's actually a Cult. The President of the Way was sued for forcing married members into sexual relationships at the Way's college, and as part of the out-of-court settlement, the site was taken down. This was too bad, because it gave a lot of insights into the mindset of religious Fundamentalism in general.
