Don't people like this realize that they're toying with the very sort of conditions that are going to make the French Revolution look like a kids' party? I like the idea, except that nobody knows what it might bring forth...probably something even more fundie xtian that what you have now.

I'm afraid there will be no such Revolution in this country. Americans are too busy with playstations, Wal*Mart shopping and sports to think about anything important, much less act on it.

I think that's what these people are counting on, a society so numbed by consumerism and self gratification that they don't notice what's going on around them. But everybody has limits, and someday down the road something will snap, people will make up in a very big hurry, and shit will happen. I just worry about what that shit will be.
