I'd like to come, but I don't know if I will. Ahoova cleared my lip (second pass) last Thursday, so it's still a little tender and scarred, and so I'm not comfortable going out en femme while I look like this.

I know it doesn't matter and I wouldn't be the only one there in boy-mode, but it's not something I'm comfortable with, given the reasons I'd be there in the first place.

Next Wednesday for sure.

Looks like you had an eventful day on your hands. And feet, as it were. What on earth is that curly-Q looking chrome snail thing on the front underside? Is that some exhaust header? Looks like one of those obscure musical instruments. A sack-butt or what have you.

heh. The chrome snakey thing is called an expansion chamber, and is part of the two-cycle exhaust system. The large section provides more low-end torque on what would otherwise be a very high-revving, unmanageable power curve on a straight pipe. Expansion chambers have to be precisely tuned for the engine and are very sensitive to the smallest change, such as a dent caused by a rock. Factory race teams run different pipes for different track conditions.

I'm planning to go out of town next weekend, but would you like to get together for a walk or movie the following week or weekend?
