my hot water heater isn't working so i'm boiling water on my stove so i can take a hot bath. to think everyone used to have to bath like that, or take baths in cold water, or not bathe at all!

Well a few weeks ago I had to do the same thing (because I ran out of gas for the house), so I had to boil water on the stove, which was a 2 hour process to finally get it full enough to actually be able to bathe in....
and before heaters, people use to bathe once a week.

Had a power outtage on friday night and thought, "Ooops.. the heat's going to be off!" and it was about 15 degrees outside with a howling wind.

Good thing it went back on in 40 minutes!
