mojo needed

I hope to hear back from the company I interviewed with last Wednesday sometime this week..  I'm a little anxious because I don't know.. I may have come on a little too strong.. I pointed out a potential security concern with one of their existing scripts after they mentioned being concerned about security issues.

If you can spare a little I could use mojo, good vibes, incantations, white spells, prayer, snake eyes, burnt offerings, or any combination thereof.

I've been meaning to reply but I keep posting instead :P

*hugs* to you.

Keeping my fingers crossed, my toes crossed, my arms crossed, my legs crossed, my eyes crossed...

I have a few good vibes left for you.. as far as burnt offerings, I did burn my grilled cheese some this morning, and had to scrape off the burnt bits with a knife.. not sure you want that though. :)

I'm afraid the most I can offer is good (((((vibes))))) -- but they're real, original, vintage 60s vibes -- the kind that, when *shared*, drew half a million people to Woodstock, drove an evil US President from office and ended an insane war... Even after all this time, they should *still* be powerful enough to get you that job! ;-)

...just as long as those hippie vibes don't somehow evolve into yuppie vibes.

I was 15 in the Summer of Love. The late 60s are a big part of who I am. Question authority. Make love, not war. We actually said those things. And we believed them. And most of us still *do* believe them. So... Yuppies? Roast their little plastic Barbie and Ken butts in your new GE Toaster Oven and scatter the ashes to the winds. We were all about *giving*. Yuppies were all about *acquiring* -- wealth, power, influence, whatever -- at any cost. Now, as then, I just want to be *happy*...

I think it was Jello Biafra that pointed out that, during the '80s, the yuppies and their ilk went out of their way to denigrate everything that was good about the '60s. Seems pop culture and the media believed them, because the '60s image seems to stop at the pot infused commune in Haight-Ashbury. So many ideals just tossed aside like an old shoe. It seems to me that the 1960-1969 was the only decade in the last century in which we had the right idea.

I will say a prayer for you!
That, along with the vibes, the mojo, and the good thoughts - you can't get help but get the job! (If it's what you want.)
