I was 18 in 1987 and let me tell ya! I am in agreement with you. Though I did love and I still love u2. I am glad that U2 revived The Skids-The Saints Are Coming.

HOW can you hate "Oh Yeah" by Yello?! They are the greatest band ever! Admittedly the song got old around the time they were selling Twix bars with it, but the first time I heard it--the Ferrari scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off--I was forever changed.

Chicachicaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh

(Even cooler, the very next song on the Stella album starts out "foo-wah-ooh-wah-oo-wa-oo-wa-ooo" in the same 45-slowed-down-to-33 Dieter Meier voice. An amazing transition.)

I would have much rather had your list...esp. the Kate Bush/Peter Gabriel duet (I love that song so much - So is such a fantastic album!) & JULIAN COPE!! That's like, my song! :P

However, "You Can Call Me, Al" would not have been striked through ;) I love that song and the fact that Chevy Chase is in that video makes it even better! ;)

OMG - and you crossed out "Heart & Soul" by T'Pau - what's wrong with you woman!?!?!?!?!? ;)

Teehee...*slurps*

Yeesh...listening-to-music-wise, 1987 was not a good year for you!
