That is pretty much the situation I was talking about, though it goes back further than '04. Elizabeth Birch was very anti-trans while begging us for money. Birch was the person beind the removal of trans language from ENDA for years. So I don't think much of her...

HRC has improved, but take a look at their latet best places to work list. Look at how many companies they approve don't offer medical support for transgendered people. Not many.
