ugh

my rash is spreading down my legs. it's all over my back and neck too. i'm a little concerned now.. i pulled back the covers on my bed and see a slightly faded spot in the middle of my sheet where my back is. I bought one of those cheapy eggcrate mattress tops several months ago, and my sheets appear to be fading where I sleep.

Go to a doctor, *now*!

It might just be Hives (ref.: http://www.ahealthyme.com/topic/hivestreatment/), a type of allergic reaction to something you ate or came in dermal contact with). I've had them. Definitely *not* fun. And there's an outside chance it could be Scabies (ref.: http://www.ahealthyme.com/topic/scabies/) which has an entirely different cause and treatment.

Good luck, sweetie! Feel better soon... :-)

heya,
well before I went to bed last night I put a comforter over my bed and slept on top of it. When I woke up this morning the rash wasn't nearly as bad. I thought I'd try to go in to work for a little bit this PM, but I'm not feeling up to it. and I don't want to get my coworkers sick.

Usually, if you have some sort of rash it could be an allergic reaction. Like in the movie, "Hitch", Benadryl is a good medicine to have on hand, just in case.
My friend Robin had three girls - "Don't", "Stop" and "Quit". As you can imagine, with nicknames like those, she had her hands full most evenings after work, especially when her husband worked out of town for months at a stretch.
So, in desperation, some nights, she'd like them up and give them Dimetapp or Benadryl.
I still laugh at that story.
Upshot is, it's sometimes a good "sleep aid", too.
