who knew.. silver apples still touring (first record 1969!). playing at the EARL later this summer. They were one of the (if not THE) first electronic/industrial bands.
I'd never heard of this band before? This is pretty neat stuff. I wonder what they sound like today compared to the few random YouTube clips I found (which, I imagine over so many years, has likely changed/matured a lot)...
Are you sure it's the same one? I thought I had all of their clips off YouTube, and don't remember seeing one from NYC. As a mater of fact, pretty sure they were never in the states last year...??
There's a couple of "The Awakening" bands out there. Considering they're all in different countries (this one from South Africa), no one's taken up copyright issue with the other ones yet... My most amusing is the raggae one. hahaha :-)
