cypress gardens

On the way home I stopped by Cypress Gardens and rode in a canoe around the swamp. The park was built 100 years ago - it used to be a rice farm. The owners drained the rice patties and let it grow wild. This is the only way to get cypress started according to the tour guide. Anyway, once the trees were established they filled it in with water and voila, instaswamp. Cypress trees live to be thousands of years old.

A, are you doing something different with your hair?
Looks good.
P.S. Thanks for the cheer up. It helped.

You said:

Seriously, though

I agree with Lovey... The photo of you is *beautiful*! :-)

Wonderful, I wish we had swamps like that around here.

I like your hair.
