So..

I need two things - an amp to play drum beats, and an amp to play bass. My studio is tiny, so I don't need more than 100 watts on the PA, and I liked the Fender 60 watt bass combo I listened to earlier tonight.

But should I forego the bass combo and get a nicer PA which could then be used to play both bass & drumbox?

Wouldn't you rather have a real person playing the drums?

I'm not going to be of much help but I love my MarkBass combo amp. It's a tough call, but I think the PA makes more sense.

Absolutely, but my room is 8' x 9' with a low ceiling. If I add drums I will have nowhere to put amps, desk with mixer, computer, ect.

I played the 2x8 tonight at Guitar center. AMAZING. Also played the 1x12, but I preferred the dual 8". I'm glad I didn't have $900 in my pocket because I would have taken one home.

How many drummers does it take to screw in a light bulb?

None! They got a machine that does that too!

I don't need to screw in a lightbulb. I have a bed for that.

I picked up the 1x12 (hooray stimulus check!) and it's perfect for this little house. I was honestly surprised at the amount of low end it packed! MarkBass make one hell of a combo, that's for sure.
