i watched City of the Living Dead last night and my head *still* hurts. lol.. that movie had one of the most bizzarre, random scripts i've ever seen and I don't think Fulci intended it to be that way. ...eesh... what was that strange ending all about?

anyway.. i loved the gore and that corpse Bob saw after he blew up his girlfriend looked pretty cool.. did you notice that his shirt was reeeaally dirty afterwords? haha. Emily's tears of blood were rad.

I agree with ya, aquaknot, there have been interesting discussions of late.. Not sure any of it matters one way or another but its fun to waste time on it for a little while anyway.

And I totatally agree with entertainme_nt's opinion that bands must be at the center of whatever event happens, otherwise people are gonna stay in their comfy homes and listen to music they downloaded with Kazaa & slsk instead. Even I've been guilty of doing that. Probably most of us have sometime or another.

If I knew where to rent club space very cheaply (not at one of the regular digs, something smaller, and maybe a litle away from midtown), I'd love to try and put together a bi-monthly event held on one Saturday every two months.

I have a small PA and stuff, maybe have one or two bands at the most play, BYOB kind of thing... dj's but they'd be there for ambiance.. make the space as homey as possible and of course charge absolutely nothing for it (that might change if it actually caught on). But at first I'd host the event for tips and love, and see what happens.

I wonder where I'd even begin looking for that elusive event space?

*thinks to self* oh Adrya, shut up.. its a waste of time, nobody's interested, it will fail miserably... just go to work.
