March begins at the Martin Luther King Jr. center (click for map), and converges on Piedmont Park for a peaceful demonstration. Why the King center? Because MLK, Jr. was fundamentally opposed to war, particularly the Vietnam conflict. He believed in peaceful opposition to war, as do many Americans.
So, get your hiking shoes ready and come show your solidarity with the steadily growing numbers of people opposed to the unnecessary bloodshed in Iraq.
