Mine is over 6 years old and completely flattened out in the middle. I feel the springs if I lay just right. It's terrible.

Part of my hesitation in buying another one is not having any way of researching new mattresses (unlike buying a car, or television set, ect). These mattress companies change names and brand names and models so often, consumers don't have a chance to research and compare.

I spent almost a thousand dollars on this one, it was nice for maybe a year and a half before the middle started sagging. The dealer offered a warranty but said the wear was within normal limits.

I just don't trust the mattress businesses.

I thought I may want a Temurpedic but most who own them say they are very hot in the summer. I am a hot sleeper to begin with so that is ruled out. Or maybe not? My current mattress had a memory foam top when new and I absolutely loved it.. it was soft on top and super firm below. Great support for my back (which was giving me trouble at the time).

Are there any good resources for finding the best and most affordable mattress? Forums? mailing lists? Or can you recommend a mattress from personal experience? Again, I loved the 4" memory foam pillow-top over the firm mattress.

My back and purse thank you!

Public Statement on the Incident at the women’s toilet at Pride involving a Trans woman

We at Pride deeply regret this incident happened and are doing everything within our power to remedy the situation. As the Appointed Director to handle this issue I am concerned that a lot of misinformation has been circulating with regard to this.

So let me clear some of this up:

Firstly SFM workers are not volunteers for Pride London, they are handled by SFM directly. The incident that took place in the women’s toilet did not involve one of Pride’s stewards as been reported as we at Pride do not adhere to any discrimination issues. We have a clear policy with regard to toilets and usage by Trans people, that is a Trans woman is clearly allowed to use the women’s toilet and a Trans male clearly able to use a male toilet. We would never say to any Trans person to use the disable loo as this is clearly illegal.
