I think the guy’s wrong. I think not only it was racism, it was justifiable racism. I mean, that’s the lesson we’re being taught here today. Kid shouldn’t have been on the bus anyway. We need segregated buses — it was invading space and stuff. This is Obama’s America.

I realize it bothers modern conservatives to have racism so frequently pinned to conservatism as a whole, but things like this is exactly why you are all lumped together as latent racists (even if many or even most are not). Stop complaining about the label and police your own community, or if you think Rush has the right to say whatever he wants, great -- stop complaining about liberals tagging conservatives as racists.

Admitting I was wrong

to post the Rush quote earlier today. I hadn't read the full transcript, which shows that his comment was sarcasm. I still disagree with most of what he says, but he at least did not truly call for segregation.
