First the annoying news...
A little over a month ago I won an auction for a red crinoline on ebay. Around the same time I was signed up for surgery. I was a freaking mess in the weeks leading up to surgery and despite remaining in steady contact with the seller didn't get the payment in to her till a week ago. I used a service called bidpay which i'd never used before. Maybe it was the drugs I was on at the time, but I goofed and mistakenly sent the price of the item and not the shipping (which was 6 dollars). Well that was a disaster as bidpay offered 'priority shipping' on the stie and the seller was also doing priority -- bidpay's fee was also 6 dollars. several days later i found out that only 23 of the 32 bucks I sent the seller went through. 3 bucks for service charge, and 6 dollars for priority shipping -- for the money order. urgh. I wrote seller and explained and went right back and tried to do anohter payment to her for 6 dollars. this time bidpay said there were technical problems and not to resend the payment info, they would automatically try again. fine. I wrote seller and explained problem, and included all the info including bidpay order number (which she could use to verify payment) from the transaction so she would know that payment was on it's way.
well last night i get a short bitchy note from seller saying she was going to turn me into ebay for non-payment. this despite my sending her the bidpay confirmation number a week ago! i called western union and found that the money order had been mailed out but it wasn't cashed yet. i've done my best part to keep in good contact with the seller thoughout. i wrote back asking if she got the money order.... it took a lot to be nice to her because of her mean as fuck attitude with me. i'm now waiting to hear back from the seller.. I hope there isn't more attitude, but i'm expecting it. *sigh*
