yeah... David and I were friends when I lived in Atlanta. Moxy left soon afterwards but David and I kept in touch all these years. They used to be called something else (Winter Kills)... and Dead As Romance was David's solo project for a while. He stopped making music to concentrate on his graphics degree (and that made me sad because he's sooo freaking talented). I tried to hook David and Nathan up once when Nathan was trying to form a band but that never went anywhere. But Moxy came back and talked David into singing again. David's voice is so great - a lovely mix of David Bowie and Robert Smith and the songs are so 80's reminiscent that they make my heart ache when I hear them. "Sleep Was Better Then" is one of my current faves as well as Secrets, Lies, and Blasphemy and New Orleans.
