On my way home from work tonight I began worrying over my back (again). I still have a sharp pain when I turn around, take a deep breath, sneeze or laugh. So, I'm driving along wondering what surgery might be like the second time around when all of the sudden I hear (and feel) something pop loose on my back! It was my car's seat.. a spring happened to come undone and my back sank a little further into the already uncomfortable seat.

So.. I have no idea how to fix that now. I guess I have to get a new seat because that will be murder on my back.

Can you take the cover off the back of the seat? If so, you may be able to bend the spring back into place. Another thing to try would be to get a board and try to force the end of the spring back into place. Or, try putting something between you and the spring and a seat cover over it to keep it in place.

At least it's not like when the bolt failed on the seat back of my old LN7 and I fell backwards while driving one day. Did manage to get the car stopped safely...
