so, I spent yesterday afternoon and night at Bury Me Under's practice space recording guitar & drums for 4 songs. BMU's drummer, Chris, was absolutely amazing... He hadn't listened to much of the songs before yesterday and two of them have multiple tempo changes and he picked both of them up in minutes. And not only that he is one of the best drummers I've seen play in a while.. I feel really honored that he took time to help this poor girl out. After eight hours everyone was beginning to feel a little beat, so we decided to stop and pick up tonight.
I'm going to retake one or two second guitar lines, put down bass tracks and begin working on vocals. I'm a little nervous about getting everything just right. But then I don't want sterile sounding music either, so a few subtle glitches won't be that bad.
Work was crazy-busy again today.. I decided to go home after a switch went out which meant I couldn't do any further development.. plus I wanted to beat some of the traffic going home, which I did.
ok bye.
