i'm home from seeing Michael Moore's latest documentary with
upas. i'm tired and need to go to bed but i wanted to say that Moore deserves honorable mention for his production. I expected much left-wing propaganda nor was I let down, but what I couldn't ignore were many facts he presented. I cried several times during the film, so many innocent lives have been lost and all because of some rather shady business deals implicating GW Bush, Dick Cheney and several Saudis too. I don't know how Moore came by some of the footage used in this documentary but some of it has to be seen to be believed.
I left with a clearer understanding of who I wouldn't vote for later this year. I suspect Kerry, Gore & the democrats have many shady dealings of their own and I don't think I can force myself to vote for them etiher. I don't like choosing between evils.
Also, I wonder if the reason Farenheit 911 is doing so well isn't because the American public is sick of hearing non-news on our major and cable networks.. What I saw tonight, well bits and peices of it anyway, was political truth unfolding on the silver screen.
Even if you can't stand the guy I urge everyone to see this movie. Don't bury your head in the sand, look around and see what is happening with your own eyes. Take what Moore is saying with a grain of salt, but also pay attention to many cold, hard facts presented in the documentary. Saying 911 is discomfortaing is an understatement.
