So what do you think my Thinkpad is worth?

One of my budgeted expenditures in 06 is a new laptop.    Before I buy one I must first sell my Thinkpad 600x, but I don't know what I should ask for it.

It comes with a 500mhz processor, 342mb ram, 6gb hard drive, wireless and ethernet cards, and external floppy. 

What do you think it's worth?

Let me discuss it with Suzanne and get back with you. I wasn't sure what a fair price would be either, so I took a quick look through the completed eBay auctions for similarly statted thinkpads. They didn't have anything exactly the same, but slightly worse laptops seemed to be about $130-$150, and somewhat better ones were hitting the $250-$300 mark (around 1.x MHz, 20-40G HD, etc). So, I'm thinking maybe $175 or $200 would be about right?

I'll need to check with Suzanne first in any case, of course, since she's the one who's looking for the laptop, but let me know if that seems like a fair price to you.

Ok! I've talked with Suzanne, and her only other requirement was that it have a working USB port. If it does, we'll take it. Does $200 seem reasonable?
