ok i'm beginning to wonder about these little bites.

my skin is turning reddish-purple about an inch around the two holes. and the area right around the holes is throbbing white/red/white/red with my heart beat. it still iches but i'm not scratching. anyone know what a brown recluse bite looks like?

http://www.rochedalss.eq.edu.au/reclusebite.htm I doubt that's it, but you could be having an allergic reaction to a bite. Some people are allergic to flea bites, and fleas are everywhere, even if you don't have pets. If it keeps up or gets worse, call your Dr or go to the ER.

i looked at those photos (ick!!) and thank god mine looks nothing like that.. its not that dark and i don't have any other symptoms. so hopefully i have nothing to worry about. thanks for the link.

just to be on the safe side get it checked out by a doctor. We lost a freind in may due to a small spider bite that was left unchecked (hospital turned her away twice due to not being able to pay) and it led to another more serious infection.
