what I did earlier this afternoon

This belonged to an elderly woman who wanted to put in a small garden beside her house. Her son coordinated everything, he said she wanted to plant corn, but with so much shade I doubt much corn will grow there. Maybe they can get a few tomatoes & herbs to grow though.

If this paid a little more, and the work was steady I would totally quit my day job and do this ful time.

It *can* pay more... Just re-brand yourself from 'farm hand' to something like "Landscape Reinstatement Specialist", or "Garden Design Consultant"... And charge two or three times as much for what you do...

It may sound silly, but I'm serious.

As you may have guessed, I'm fresh out of a brainstorming session with a career counselor who's helping me revamp my CV and plot a new course for my career...
