Have you tried 600 thread count sheets? Target had several sets, but they were almost three times as high as the regular sheets. If they feel anything like the silk sheets I tried years ago I don't think I'd like them.
not 600, no. I do have a 1000 thread count sheet that I like. I like it better the second day when it's butter soft. 350-500 is my favorite. Thick, durable, and very soft after it's broken in (kinda like denim).
Try 500 thread count. At change of season you can get them at Target very inexpensively.
