Sweetwater Park

So, johnbutler and I rode out to Sweetwater park this afternoon. (edit -- actually we visited here 4 years ago almost to the day. link to our visit in 2004)

The weather today was slightly cool, but still beautiful. We walked about 4 miles, much of that over debris strewn over the trails from last month's floods.

Georgia does not have any gorgeous expanses of uniformly dense red maple like you get when you go further north. Most of our deciduous trees go from green straight to brown. We have to drive up to the Shenandoah Valley or thereabouts to see Fall as it should be. It's nice to still have sixty degree days into December, though.
