Love this band! If you like them, you'll also like Rational Youth.

Yep yep... had all their 12"s long ago. Utter Space and Freeways are favs too. I tried really hard to like Sideways.. even listened to it again a bit ago. MWH were better as a synthpop band imho. Ivan was an amazing front guy.

I still have my original vinyl copy of Cold War Night Life. RY was another band that diversified after their initial synthpop success. Bill Vorn wanted to move on and do other things, and Tracy Howe wanted to continue. So there were several incarnations of RY over the years, before they folded for good somewhere around 2003. Another decent synthpop band from that time was Spoons. I think I might have sent you some of their stuff. Still very much a going concern.

I dial this video up every once and a while. I'm a big fan too. Surprise? ;)

One of my favorite things about this live set is the little flubs on keyboards here & there. It's great hearing people actually play the instruments. These days the entire band minus singer & guitar player could be replaced with Reason.

Never heard of this band. But they are really good. I'm going to pop over to itunes see if they have anything by them. Thanks for sharing that. :O)
