So the kitchen cabinets are "bisque" in color.

I was first thinking of using a medium beige color for the paint, but am having second thoughts. Would an alternate color look good with the cabinet color, tile & countertops? Something like a muted green?

Just remember if you pick a color, you're going live with it a long time. (Remember avocado green?)

I traditionally get more mileage out of neutrals- and remember to count the appliances as a color- that I can easily change the color of paint/ rug/ canister/bowl on counter/ dishtowels to change the feel of the room. I do the same with bathrooms.

You also have to pick with an eye to resale if you want to later on.

I have a religious objection to all forms of beige. Beige is the color of evil. When sinners die and go to Hell, the flames that burn them are beige flames. They are forced to wear beige clothes and sit on beige furniture and use beige computers that run a beige operating system. They drive beige cars with beige interiors.
