So the kitchen cabinets are "bisque" in color.

The countertops:


The tile (it's actually a bit darker than this image suggests):



I was first thinking of using a medium beige color for the paint, but am having second thoughts. Would an alternate color look good with the cabinet color, tile & countertops? Something like a muted green?

Just remember if you pick a color, you're going live with it a long time. (Remember avocado green?)

I traditionally get more mileage out of neutrals- and remember to count the appliances as a color- that I can easily change the color of paint/ rug/ canister/bowl on counter/ dishtowels to change the feel of the room. I do the same with bathrooms.

You also have to pick with an eye to resale if you want to later on.

Yup. It is truly amazing how very durable ugly colors are- in appliances and cars alike. :)

agreed, I would consider the top you have pictured with maybe gray tile. A more neutral color like gray would age better with changing fasions

Example" I live in a house made in the '40s and decorated in the late '50s/early '60s with light pink tile with sky blue accents. While I like it since my idea of interior decorating is zebra print curtains and painting everything black and red, I like how eccentic it is, but 99% of other people would consider it gross.
