my fix

So I felt well enough to load up my bike and go riding for a little while this afternoon. I went to Monroe MX, just east of Atlanta.

Driving back home at dusk, on 316.

On the way home I turned onto Hwy 53 and went to Sims Road. Here's the farmhouse my dad built in the 1970s. It also happens to be the same house from recurring nightmares of years past.

While looking at our old home I wondered what life would be like if my parents hadn't broken up, if they were still living in this home... As I approached the house I was compelled to turn and go down the drive as if it were my house. I didn't, but imagining it is is so easy.

After riding I discovered that my Kawasaki's cylinder base gasket was leaking a little so I started taking it apart to replace the seal.

Here is a junky Suzuki motorcycle I was given earlier this year. I intend to restore and sell it next year.
