Close call

Remember my day of frolicking in the mud last December?  Well, my bike apparently didn't appreciate being abused so.

Today, while riding at Monroe MX, the throttle stuck wide open as I approached a small jump.  It startled me, but I was in the right position on the bike not to lose control.  I'd only ridden 30 minutes, if that.. but not knowing why the throttle hung I pulled right off the track and loaded up.    I'd already cleaned and lubricated the throttle assembly, so I rechecked that then cleaned and lubed the throttle cable and carb slide.  It feels much better now, so maybe I'll venture out for a little bit tomorrow.. the weather is supposed be a lot nicer too.

My poor, poor calculator.  It also thinks I hate it.

I pulled the battery cover off this morning to discover four badly corroded AAA batteries inside.  They were stuck in place until I wedged them out with a knife.

My question is can I still use it?  There's a little white stuff remaining, but the contacts seem OK.

Spinach pasta and sun-dried tomato sauce, topped with parmasean cheese.  On the side I had italian bread, baked with olive oil brushed on the top.  It was vary tasty. :)

I had a good ride at Monroe today.. my bike ran crisp and didn't do anything odd.. good times. :)
