One down, one to go

An $89 dollar motherboard and $20 power supply later, my Win2k box is finally working again.  I have a lot of work to catch up on, but it will have to wait until Thursday or Friday.  I'm bringing my guitar & rig to work tomorrow so I can scoot over to the audition right after work.  I haven't touched the damn thing in weeks.

I'm very displeased about congress attempting to vote on a worthless, comparatively irrelevant Constitutional Amendment which everyone knows won't pass.  At the same time, Geneva regs have been stripped from our military's new recruit handbooks.  Apparently, love between to human beings resulting in civil union and marriage is less important than subtle advocations of torture. 

Why aren't the same people supporting a ban on gay marriage also calling for a Constitutional Amendment banning divorce?

I'm still waiting for the 500 GB SATA drive that this company was supposed to ship me back in March.. I got an 82 GB EIDE drive instead.

Get this.. the company is in Georgia. :P

So yeah, £49 in shipping later.. the drive was returned. Now I'm waiting for them to ship the 500 GB one to me. Oh joy of joys.
