Well that's nice.  My desktop PC has started turning off inexplicably.    Not to be outdone my SuSE box has decided it doesn't want to go online tonight, despite showing an active link light. 

Maybe I should take a hint and stop working on the dang things tonight.

Desktop PC have bad memory? Try using Memtest86+ (http://www.memtest.org/).. it's pretty good.
